Late Summer Days
Day 25/365
Finally, an actual new photo! Taken between Montezuma and Marshallville. Had to run to Warner Robins for a few things and took the scenic (i.e. non-interstate) route back. Taken with my point and shoot as I didin’t want to carry the big camera with me since I was out of the car a good bit. -

If I add a 5 after “36” it’s almost 365. That counts as almost there, right?!
Notre Dame view from a bridge over the Seine. Numerous layers of textures added - my favorite a wet t-shirt.

Temple of Antoninus and Faustina
Subjected to various texture layers. To be honest, the original photo is not super. This was taken fairly soon after I got my dSLR and the only lens I had was the kit lens… uhm… okay if the lighting was perfect but it struggled other times. Not to suggest any time I use textures I’m covering up imperfections, but in this situation, I think it did this image justice. Kind of feels like an old Fresco now.
I want to go back to Italy just to see it with newer eyes and better equipment..

A Little Cong
Day 40/365
The little village of Cong in County Mayo, Ireland. Only a short bus stop and it rained part of the time I wandered here, but the little houses and shops looked quaint, and it was apparently the setting for an old famous film, The Quiet Man. I had several chances but never watched it.
Layered with textures.

Rough day - finally had to admit my allergies are a cold of some description. Surprised I accomplished anything.
Textures and a re-edit of a photo from a year ago in tiny Leary, Georgia.

Woodland Ride
Day 42/365
Re-interpreting an old photo from Colonial Williamsburg. Immensely happy with the results of the new edit. No textures, but cropped slightly and lots of dodging/burning type work in Adobe Lightroom.

Re-visiting an old photo from Cordele, Georgia. I think it’s more striking now, but it’s always been one I edited as spot color - just with better tone control now.
